Battersea Dogs Home
Battersea Dogs Home was founded in 1840 by Mrs Mary Tealby, and today her aims remain ours to rescue, reunite, rehabilitate and rehome lost and abandoned dogs and cats.
Battersea Dogs Home is a registered charity (number 206394), and do not get any support from the Government, depending on the generosity of people who share our passion for dogs and cats. It costs ’637 for every dog and cat we care for no matter how long or short their stay with us.
